B.Sc., LL.B. - Born on 29th September, 1952.

               Enrolled as an Advocate on 14th March, 1975. Designated as a Senior Advocate with effect from 19th December, 1994.

                  Appointed as a permanent Judge of the Calcutta High Court on 17th July, 1997.

             Transferred as Judge of High Court of Gujarat on 08th November 2011 and was appointed as the Acting Chief Justice on the same day and continued as such till 20th July 2012.

                  Elevated as Chief Justice, High Court of Gujarat on 21st July 2012.
